Imagine if all your favourite fairy-tale characters were all living in a town right now. We have Snow White & The Evil Queen, Red Riding Hood & her Granny, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Robin Hood, Rumplestilskin. All cursed to live in the modern world!
I saw an episode in the 3rd season and couldn’t make heads or tails of it. The show’s stories only slightly resemble the original. So, when Star World started showing the re-runs of the show, I diligently watched all the episodes from season 1 onwards.
And, it was amazing!
The fairy-tales all have a twist to them. I mean, imagine PeterPan being the father of Rumplestilskin, who in turn is the crocodile that Captain Hook( who btw is a hero in this series!) is mortally afraid of! Or, Robin Hood falling in love with the Evil Queen, who in turn, became evil because Snow White(by mistake) got her boyfriend killed!
Seriously, I love the ways in which the stories have changed and become interwoven with other stories or realms!
You will find most of Disney’s immortal characters here. Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Anna & Elsa from Frozen, Merida from Brave, Cruella De Vil from 101 Dalmations.The list is fairly comprehensive!
It’s a bit tough to understand if you haven’t watched previous seasons. But, I’d still recommend to watch it!
