One 2 ka four - What does that title mean?
Two cops, Javed and Arun, try to nail drug dealer KKV. Javed is the senior of the two and an intelligent and responsible officer. Arun (SRK) is not only hotheaded but also quite brutal, for example when questioning a suspect.
This kind of brutality strikes me as rather strange. (And is absolutely unthinkable in Germany!)
Javed has four children (three actually, one being his niece) while Arun is shown to be quite intolerant of children, a trait that appears believable, because in real life it is displayed by many young single men who sort of refuse to grow up.
When Javed is mysteriously killed, Arun finds himself in the unwanted situation of having to burden himself with these children. In comes Geeta, a young woman who seems infatuated with him. She can easily manage the children as well as him.
Later she turns out to be an under cover cop who also tries to nail KKV, a fact which everybody except Arun understand immediately.
I liked the way this woman was shown as a cool and clever professional, which is something I havent seen very often in Bollywood movies.
Shahrukh Khans acting was fine, as usual.
The songs were okay but nothing special.
As in many other Bollywood movies I found the childrens acting awful, completely wooden.
Geetas character, when she is not a cop, seems rather exaggerated. I would run from such a person within milliseconds.
What I dont understand is Champrak (?) How can he live in Aruns flat for ages, sleeping in front of the staircase, getting kicked every now and then?
All in all, I liked the movie alright, but I wouldnt want to watch it a second time.
