One bright summer morning, successful dramatist Victor Dermott’s life is shaken when he and his wife, with their baby are held hostage in an isolated ranch house by a bunch of depraved mobsters. His dog and his servant are already dead and his guns are missing. The mastermind behind all these is a retired racketeer and gangster named Big Jim Kramer, who is trying for a comeback in the rackets. Big Jim had kidnapped Zelda, daughter of a millionaire by the name of Van Wylie and had chosen Dermott’s ranch-house to hide Zelda. Dermott’s wife and child are held hostage and he is told by Big Jim to negotiate with Van Wylie and collect the ransom money.
But Zelda encounters a sexual attraction towards Riff, one of the kidnappers, who, once had a incestuous relationship with his sister, Chita. Chita did not like Riff getting physical with Zelda and infact became jealous. As a result , the whole racket turned sour.
