One Assist is a fraud company tied up with HDFC credit card. They did not cancel my plan and automatically renewed every year. I called oneassist to cancell my plan, they didn’t even listen, they were too busy explaining the benefits. I hung up and called HDFC customer care immediately, I told them to either reject Oneassist from taking money from credit card or Close my credit card account . They said they can’t do that. so I filled credit card closure form and submitted to HDFC, one week later I got call from HDFC enquiring the reason for credit card closure, I told them everything. They contacted oneassist and have my plan cancelled immediately.
my question here is "why HDFC didn’t do it when I first called them? why are they doing it only after I initiated credit card closure procedure?"
I don’t like HDFC after that. Fortunately my employer allowed me to transfer my salary account to ICICI. Yes I closed my HDFC credit card and HDFC salary account and switched to ICICI.
