I bought the 64GB model a year and a half ago and I have never had any kind of problem with the phone. I’m a heavy user and trust me, the phone is a beast. Beautiful display even now and amazing camera quality. I have rooted the device and unrooted it back after using all the available custom roms. It’s perfect even with Cyanogen OS, but was slightly better with Cyanogem Mod except the camera quality.
