Oneplus isn't magical anymore.

I purchased it 3 months back only because I just loved its predecessor the Oneplus One so much. And I thought that they’d have gotton it marginally upgraded over Oneplus One. But I was so wrong. They even cut some of good features that made Oneplus one a killer phone, like CyanogenMod, NFC support etc.

Don’t get me wrong, Oxygen OS in it is good too but It isn’t as much as customizable than CyanogenMod is. I personally liked CyanogeMod better, plus Oxygen OS isn’t that polished yet.

And why in the god’s name they called it Flagship Killer for 2016 when it doesn’t even have NFC, expandable storage, fastest processor, etc.

Rear camera is mediocre too. I mean if you call it Flagship Killer then it should have a camera that is better than Samsung Galaxy S6, Note 5, LG G4, iPhone 6S etc. And those still are all phones from 2015, God know how amazing 2016 phones would be. Even thought the OP2 had OIS, photos were not that clear and video recording has focusing issue. which I heard, is not solved yet.

Fingerprint scanner is okay though, it works 7 out of 10 times. Sound reception is improved significantly,  Battery backup is average( lesser than Oneplus One), 4GB of ram make it great for multitasking, it heats up a little bit but( due to sandstone finish at the back) you don’t feel it.

My point is that they made a huge hype on this with Flagship Killer for 2016 but it couldn’t even compete with the 2015 phone much. I’d recommend Moto X style over it any day. Or if you are not that into the fingerprint scanner, I’d suggest you to get Oneplus One and by that you can savesome money.
