At first glance, the OnePlus 2 doesn’t appear anything special. Coming from a manufacturer no-one has heard of you might expect it to bear some obvious USP that’ll scream at you from the shelf.
But that’s not the point. The OnePlus 2 isn’t meant to be sold on shelves, ever.
Aside from the odd importer, you can only buy the phone from OnePlus direct. You need an invite to even be able to order the thing and, at the time of writing, they aren’t too easy to get hold of. The OnePlus One was a surprise hit when it was first announced thanks to its powerful specs and affordable price point. It lived up to our expectations as an excellent device, leaving its successor with big shoes to fill.
The OnePlus 2 will be shipping with OnePlus’ own operating system, OxygenOS.The OnePlus 2 is lightning quick thanks to a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chip. With up to 64GB of storage and eMMC 5.0 flash memory paired with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The OnePlus 2 isn’t a name brand flagship device but it offers the same appealing platter of quality specs and low price. At the moment, I’m most impressed with its sharp display and fantastic camera.
The 5.5-inch LCD screen and 600-nits makes battery life questionable at this point but further testing in the review should reveal its capabilities. Right now, the OnePlus 2 is a solid handset and asking Rs 24, 999 for the 64GB isn’t too shabby.
Overal considering price nd spec of one plus 2 its a thumps for it
