To replace our very old (crossed 20 years) Sony TV , we went with a mindset to purchase the new Sony wega (i only suggested). After enjoying the beauty of Sony wega, the sales person asked me, whether I am interested in looking at the Onida television. First I refused, and then said OK.
At the first sight, I got impressed since the picture quality was very impressive than Sony wega. I had a very good trust and still have on Sony, but this attracted my family too. Then after few minutes the sales person again asked shall I ON the bass woofer, I said Ok. The clarity was really great, and we all got impressed by it, especially me.
Immediately we concluded to pack the TV. Still to be very frank, the quality of the picture is top class, I sometimes felt better than the other well established and popular brands. Now, it is 5 years old, and it has never visited any TV Mechanic shop. I am also highly satisfied for selecting this TV. I always trust in the quality of sound from Sony, but this is better than wega ( i am not comparing with the other higher end Sony products).
Pros : Picture quality, Sound (Bass, Surround and Hall) is very good, very low maintenance ( we have done nothing in this 5 years)
