Good feeling it is to write a review of this product. I first checked mouthshut for Onida experiences and then went for a combination of 25NV + DVD Player. It has turned out to be a good choice.
Beware: I prefer good Indian brands and products. But I did compare this with other brands like Sony. These are way too costly for the same feature sets.
Positives of 25NV:
1> Good Picture quality
2> Good sound effects (never tested the wattage though!)
3> In general, Hassle-free operation
Negatives of DVD player:
1> In spite of all the ad’s on TV, sometimes DVD’s & VCD’s get stuck!
2> There are way too many features and sometimes a mistake using the remote shuts down the video/audio output - I had to call the technician to get it working again!
Overall -
NV - worth it.
DVD Player - can be toned down in terms of features and existing features do not always work as promised.
