Onida Microwave Oven, Black Beauty. Beware of Onida microwave ovens! As the name suggests it’s supposed to be a "beauty", but it was not so in my case. This above mentioned beauty conked up within one and a half years and here the story starts. I contacted their service centre called "T S Corporate Onida Service Centre" in New Tippasandra.
Most of the people who attend service calls don’t understand or talk English. They behave as though Bangalore is in North India. The service person came and changed the mother board and they changed the control switch board and still it was not working. This happened in December 2013 and they said that they are expecting new lot of mother boards from Bombay and I have to wait for one month.
Now it’s May 2014 and there is no response from these people. Whenever I make a call, the service person who came to repair(he knows my phone number) doesn’t lift the phone. They have charged me Rs 2400 that time and I have paid the money. Now, there is no response and they ignore my calls. This is the condition of their products and after sales service.
So, before buying any Onida products think at least ten times.
