I would like to share my past experiences and findings by dealing with online stores.
Customer care service is the most important department for any online store that the customer is happened to be in touch with this people in needs and the reputation of any such company reflects on the behavior and attitude of these customer care representatives. Hence this is the most important department for any online stores.
Most situations that needs to contact customer care is arises from packing forwarding and shipping. Any way all the companies will do the fist two that is packing and forwarding perfectly. Even though some complaints arises from this due to the wrong handling of the shipping companies. I mean to say that, the majority of complaints occur due to the shipping companies. Most of the shipping companies have good track records in major towns whereas they are not at all good in other places. Now a days many online shopping companies selects area wise shipping partners depending upon their coverage and track records in particular areas.
Starting of many problems are from the non delivery or delivery of damaged products and these are happens due the mishandling and irresponsibility of the shipping companies and it directly creates a negative impact on the reputation of the online store.
For those who needs very good customer base, has to focus on to choose their courier partners and their customer care department. Then their future will be bright.
