Well, I’m not much of an eating out types when it comes to authentic Bengali food, being a bong myself. But this one I tried because of one of my friends, is surely worth it.
I like the fact that there’s hardly anything that’s on the menu which is unavailable as you order for them. They serve everything hot and most importantly, the presentation is great. The true Bengali tradition is visible everywhere from the food, to the decor of the outlet.
We ordered for Hilsa paturi, rice and mango chutney and they were all finger-licking good. So much so, that I ended up ordering another plate of the chutney.
What’s more appealing about this Alibaba outlet is that in spite of having such a huge footfall throughout the day, they hardly give you a late service. Of course, with no compromise with the food quality. I mean, you can literally see people standing in queues outside the place to enter, especially during the lunch hours.
