The travel time is back and this time another hill station. I am travelling to Udhagamandalam this time with my aged parents and children. I have booked the rooms at TTDC after much deliberation because of my sterling resort hangover. However, since the travel is for a group of 5 adults with my brother joining also, I decided to play prudent. Not that TTDC is cheap, they charge you Rs.1400/- for a deluxe double room, of which I have booked 2. I am planning to be in Udhagai on 12th May and return on 16th May and do some sightseeing in Coimbatore also and be back at Chennai on 17th May.
Travelwise, trains are booked. On the very first day the reservations began ninety days back. I am yet to finalise on the car to retain in Ooty. There is one M/s.Priya Travels at Coimbatore who was very prompt to respond. Mr. Subramaniam immediately called me up upon an email inquiry and informed me the tariff, the cars he has etc. Very Nice. After all, while travelling, we all love to be treated well, don’t we? Thus, the plans made, I am ready to travel. I shall be back with a detailed report upon arrival.
Meanwhile, if any suggestions can be had on a pure Veg Jain restaurant at Ooty, Can anyone let me know please?
