I have been using different versions of opera mini on my smartphone as well as my laptop. Opera mini is an internet browsing application developed by Opera Software ASA. But I want to say from my five years of experience that this browser is not good enough to browse the Internet and also to download files and media. Its browsing spped is average but its downloading speed is very poor. Downloading music and somewhat large files always fails. Again it always displays the browsing sites in compress mode so we can’t view the good look of the site. The sites are not well-visible in desktop view mode. Moreover it doesn’t support some sites layout to display. I think opera mini is good for older java and symbian phones not for androids and iPhones. I also installed its desktop version on my laptop but its performance on my laptop is also very poor and slow. This browser is not of any good use. Other browsers like Chrome, UC, Internet Explorers are really very good and useful compared to opera mini. That’s why I don’t prefer opera mini web browser.
