Oppo released their entry level smartphone A37 last year with price tag of 9, 000 rupees. The phone comes with an premium looking build, 5 inch display and with a snapdragon 410 processor, wait! what? snapdragon 410 with a price of 100. Are you kiding me? I mean how peoples like this smartphone in 2017 competitive mid budget smartphone range. Is this is a perfect deal for you in this time. There were companies like redmi who provide us more strong specs in less than this amount. A37 is that make sense! Okk guys its time to find out more about this smartphone so lets get started. . Onemore think guys this is my personal opinion about this smartphone after a year of usage and what I’m gonna tell you it will surprise you.
1) DESIGN AND BUILD?? the A37 is an standard 5 inch smartphone. Down below it has three capacitive touch buttons for quick toggle. In the left there were the volume rockers and in the right the power button. The display is made of corning gorilla glass 4 which is pritty good, but the shock for us that the it doesn’t comes with an fingerprint sensor with this huge amount of money for our security reason. Either the phone feels handy and gripped, but the top and the bottom of this smartphone is made of plastic which is pritty dissapointing for us. 7/10 in terms of build and design.
2) DISPLAY?? A37 comes with an 5 inch IPS HD display with a resolution of 294 ppi, which is decent in this price. Cause atlist we can expect a FHD display with high density. It may lag while playing high end games or playing videos. Screen colour and viewing angle is average with decent brightness. Overall the phone surely not compatible with redmi or coolpad models in this price. 6.5/10 in terms of display.
3) CAMERA AND BATTERY?? so the A37 comes with an 8MP rear sensor, which surely doest sound much bright and clear whereas vivo Y53 performs more better than its 8MP shooter. The autofocus is fast even in the macro mode. The details and colour contrasts are decent in all situation else what we can expect from a 8MP shooter. In the other hand the 5MP modest shooter is good enough to click normal selfies in day light but it also has screen flash for low light situation. With a price of , 9000 and its 2017. We can easily expect more than it but this is what oppo provide us. 7/10 in terms of camera. Lets come to the batterylife, another reason to not buy this smartphone. The phone packs with an 2, 630 mah battery which can be consider below standard in current market. It can last upto 8 hours with a nomal usage. But if tou are a heavy user it will surely dissapoint you with its performance. Again 6.5/10 in terms of batterylife.
4) PERFORMANCE?? the smartphone comes with an 2 GB of ram, the cpu is snapdragon 410, adreno 306gpu should be catagorized in entry level smartphone. But surely its not comapatible with the other phones in this range. While highly browsing or playing high end games its lag alot, and it even had a heating issue while multitasking or charging. 6/10 in terms of perdormance.
5) VALUE FOR MONEY?? it was a decent phone with build, camera, battery and performance. Only a normal user can think about to buy it, surely it will be a big mistake for a heavy user in this range. There are many alternative smartphones in the market like 3s, 3s prime, coolpad note 5 lite and many you shoukd think about it.
