The defining feature of the Oppo A83 is its 18: 9 screen, which is bound to attract attention. We really liked the fact that the Oppo A83 weighs only 143g, making it a lot more convenient to hold and use than many other phones. Despite having a much lower price than the Oppo F5, the A83 shares a lot of its hardware. The processor is the same; a MediaTek MT6763T ( also known as the Helio P23) which has eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores - four running at 2.3GHz and four running at 1.65GHz. There's 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, plus support for microSD cards of up to 256GB. There's Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS, but no NFC.
