OPPO F3 PLUS, @genuine reviews

The 6 inch phablet device by oppo is what oppo claims to be a selfie expert and is having a wide range of specs. But are those worth the buy. Lets find out!

-Sound Reception- The sound quality of the device is clear and there is no issues with the cellular call quality. Even it works perfectly with jio and it supports VOLTE.

  • User Friendly- The device runs on android marshmallow which expected to get a nougat update in near future. It also runs on oppo’s custom colour os ui which is pretty much optimisable. Ofcourse it is a user friendly device no doubt at all but if you can pay the price for a 6 in phablet as your daily driver you may move forward.

  • Style & Design- There is no doubt that the smartphone delivers stylish look and feel. The full metal back and the corning gorilla glass protected front sceen gives it a premium in hand feel. The device has an IPS display instead of an AMOLED one, which I feel is not at all appreciated at this price point.

-Other Features- Underneath the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octacore snapdragon 653 chipset coupled with adreno 510 GPU. Performance of the phone is pretty good. Even gaming does not bring about any major issue in the phone. It houses a 4000 mAh battery which easily lasts upto a full working day and if it does not then the VOOC fast charger charges the phone within no time. But still it will easily last you a full day. Now movingon to the camera performance which is stresses by oppo phones as selfie expert. The rear facing camera is a 16 MP shooter which takes descent photos in daylight conditions and in artificial lighting. The front camera is a 16 mp+ 8 mp shooter with dual lens. Now that is huge. You can take beautiful selfies and wide angle selfies if you are a selfie freak. The photos are really good, no issues at all, Even the shutter speed is descent. One of the main con of the device is that although a dual sim smartphone, it does not have a dedicated slot for the sd card. It has a hybrid slot which means you can use either 2 sim cards or a sim and micro sd card. It has  a 4 Gb of RAM and the RAM management is descent I would say and switching between recent apps does not lead to any problems whatsoever, however the internal storage is 64 gb. The fingerprint sensor is as fast as in all oppo phones. So no issues with that. It does support usb OTG compatibility.

  • Look & feel- The look and feel of the phone is premium and the screen is responsive and it gives a fair haptic feedback.

  • Value for money- I feel oppo phones are really overpriced. You can get better options in the market than this smartphone with better specs. But still if you are a selfie addict, you can buy the device.
