The Realme 2 gets a dual camera setup, which makes it more up-to-date than its predecessor. The configuration is largely the same - you get a 13-megapixel primary sensor on the back and an 8-megapixel sensor on the front. The added 2-megapixel secondary sensor now allows you to take depth-of-field photos. You also get modes like Time-Lapse, Stickers and Panorama and additional features such as face beauty and HDR. As mentioned before, the camera app has a iOS-like UI so if youre familiar with how things work on an iPhone then you should feel right at home with the Realme 2.
Despite similar camera configuration, detailing seems to have improved with the Realme 2. Photos look a little sharper and colour reproduction has also improved. In outdoor settings, photos captured will have good contrast and light, but there will be some amount of processing at work. Shutter speed is as fast as before and there is a noticeable improvement in autofocus. The camera is able to detect and lock on to a subject much faster and accurately compared to the Realme 1. In low-light, photos show some graininess, but the sensor manages to retain some detail which is good to see.
