Open wide and say aaahhhh

We all know that we must brush our teeth and floss to keep our teeth and gums in good condition. It is also important to visit your dentist twice a year for an exam and a cleaning from him/her as they have other equipment that cleans better than what we can do at home. Even if you clean your teeth well, there will be some tar and plaque build up that is missed.

What I wanted to add is beside brushing and flossing it is important to use mouth wash to have a clean smell to your breath. There are many things that we eat and drink that will leave an odor in our mouths and it is offensive to others and would be very embarrassing to know that some one could smell that and not want to be around us. Some mouth washes kill bacteria in the mouth and I recommend Listerine.

This product has a medicinal taste and smell to it but it works great. It is also good if you have a sore throat to gargle with it. Just do not swallow it.

So now you have medicine breath but it wears off as with any mouth wash so I recommend carrying breath mints with you, or they have sprays. The best one I have found is Altoids that is made in Great Britain. A bit more expensive but they sure do the trick.

So remember the rest of the oral care procedure, is not only having your mouth clean but having it smell clean is important too.
