We had stayed in Orange county, coorg during the most recent vacation. True to what I’d heard, Orange county offers a luxurious, 5-star comforts and amenities. Of course, matching these are the prices. Anyone not taking an AP-Plan, which includes both your room and food cost, would find themselves pretty uncomfortable to look at their bill during the check-out. The resort has a very pleasant ambiance and truly a magnificent place for relaxing. You have a great choice of food - there are three separate restaurants offering different cuisines within the resort. The food is varied and fabulous. You have free activities such as plantation walk and forest trek which are informative as well as provide a good physical exercise.
Free coffee is provided at the coffee shop which is excellent. There are various programs organized by the resort each evening. Kids & elders alike can have fun and enjoy their evenings. On the negative note, If you are going with children, do check out the rates for additional beds, before you order one. We had an experience wherein no one mentioned about the additional cost when we ordered additional beds but were told to pay an exorbitant amount at the time of check-out. We protested, saying that we weren’t told about the cost before, and to their credit, they decided not to charge us for the same.
