I was an orange user for about two years - I upgraded to a hand set which was pretty awfull ( motorola Z3 -) Having got through six months of my contract the phone was doing me nuts - Terrible software and unreliable operation. so I requested an upgrade to a different hand set - They told me that it would cost £279 to up grade ! - no concessions or help. - They didndt give damn.I stayed with them for a few months ( intending to dump them after a the contract ) but as bad luck would have it I managed to get my handset stolen. - and decided to cancel my contract with Orange ( paying £180 ) get my PAK code and move my number to another provider The unhelpful superviser told me that it would take three to five days to issue the PAK number ( which three years prior had only taken 24 hours from issue to full operation on a new network ) -I asked why she could not give me the PAK code on the spot and was told that due to security issues they were unable to issue it on the phone- or by email - EVEN tho they had my personal pass word, Log in, and secret question confirmed ! ! ARGGHHHH - what more security could they want ! ! ?So I said that I expected to recieve the letter the very next morning - ..... Erm NO she said - it would take between 3 and 5 days - sent Second class post and not recorded ! ! SO - They cannt give a customer whos given them the ultimate in security and password comfirmation the data becase it not safe BUT its ok to send that Oh SO sensetive data via 2nd class un-recorded post that any Mo FO could interceptI hate them SO much SO MUCHStay clear I tell you -
