I was to catch a flight from Hyderabad early morning at 8’o clock but need to travel from Bangalore to Hyderabad overnight. Looking at many positive reviews over the internet, I booked ticket in Multi Axle Mercedes Benz (Push Back Seating) Semi Sleeper.
The customer care was very supportive and helpful. They kept me informed about the running status of the bus. It was a monday evening, so traffic was at its peak. But amazingly, the bus started on time at 8:30 pm from my pick-up point - Madivala Police Station. The bus interiors were looking good with plush seats. Every window seat had a speaker volume on/off button apart from reading lamp and ac vents. Cooling was perfectly ok. The biggest disappointment was cramped up luggage rack. They provided good dry cleaned blanket. Also few snacks and a small water bottle provided later.
The onboard staff were very polite and helpful. I wanted to alight at Shamshabad near Hyderabad Airport and they politely agreed to my request and assured me that they won’t miss on that. One not so good thing is that they have too many halts in the city. It took 2 hours to cross Yelhanka. Another -ve point... they stopped the bus at midnight for dinner at a small roadside restaurant. Though started quickly. Another -ve point is they played movie till late in the night. Even switching off the speaker overhead could not help. The biggest drawback was there was no AC charging point besides the window seat.
The driver maintained good speed all the way. Near Kottur, the bus stopped in the middle of the road. Some technical problem cropped up. It took good 30 mins to rectify the problem. I was getting afraid that I may get late and have to rush to Airport. But surprisingly, the bus dropped me at Shamshabad sharp at 6:15 am.
So, I would like to give rating on a scale of 1 to 5 as...
Bus condition: 5/5
Interiors/Comfort: 4/5 (for a 6.1’ tall guy, no multi-axle semi-sleeper bus is good)
Onboard Staff: 5/5
Punctuality: 4.5/5
Onboard service: 5/5
