Here is a true account story. I had orkut account for a while but never used it. One day just out of curiousity I searched for my highschool in India. To my surprise, not only did I find the school, I found a lot of my old friends whom I had long forgotten. Using tools such as scraps I was able to connect to my old friends. Now, you may ask how did I know they were my friends. Well, there is a album section on everyone’s homepage where you can see their pictures with comments. After finding similarities in their facial features I was sure that they were my friends. No only can you add friends so that you don’t get lose contact, you can also join communities. For example, I joined the high school community where other people can find me aswell. After you find your friends, dont forget to rate them based on coolness, hotness, and you can even become their fans. However, one downside of this site is that you can’t independently join this site. You have to get invitation from someone who is already a member. There are tradeoffs with this facility because on one hand there are less abusers of this site but at the same time you need someone else to invite. If I can be a source of any help, let me know.
