Oslo is the capital city of Norway & 03rd Largest city of Scandinavia. Its situated in an amphitheater like setting with the city center in the bottom close to Oslo Fjord & residential areas streching uphill in all direction. Roads are again narrow & there is quiet trafic & trafic Jams are usual during the peak hours. We have visited Vigeland Sculpture park which is the largest aprk in city & decorated with more than 200 sculptures by norweign artist Gustav Vigeland which is open all year round & free of charge.
Viking Ship Museum which displays the world’s two best-preserved wooden Viking ships built in the 9th century, as well as small boats, sledges, a cart with exceptional ornamentation, implements, tools, harness, textiles and household utensils which are discovered from Gokstad, Oseberg and Tune as well as other finds from Viking tombs around the Oslo Fjord. Later we have visited the world most modern ski Jump Holmenkollen.
