The Charming Superchor !!

Well if you were to ask who is the best among the new breed of actors, I would probably rate Abhay Deol in the top 2 and same would be the answer for the new generation of directors. Dibakar is one of the finest to appear for Indian cinema. The mantra remains to keep it simple. So when these two of the finest come along with some first rate act from Presh Rawal all you expect is a laugh riot. And frankly you will not be disappointed. I still remember when I first saw the teaser of Oye Lucky. I told to my friend, boss ye to dekhna hi hai! and I enjoyed the movie from scratch.

Dibakar’s first outing was of a common man’s fight with the Delhi Land Mafia. This time he presents a larger than life "Dreamer" common thief who rises from the suburbs of Delhi. Right from the begening of the movie the young sardar connects will you and the same connect is felt throughout. A special mention about the Delhi Gyan of the director.

Overall Oye Lucky is a perfect follow up by the director to his first movie. Even though the plot is a bit more complex this time(symbolism can be felt for the situations and character vignette of Parsh Rawal’s 3 roles), the narration never lets it down and the director has managed to hold viewers on their seats for the full duration. The songs too complement the story with ease.

Every actor has played his part impeccably. The young sardar who plays Lucky’s childhood part is also brilliant, Neetu Chandra is slowly making her way into new age cinema, aslo the little sardar and his air fight sequence is one of the high points. But the soul of the movie is Lucky(Abhay Deol) and the actor yet agains proves why he is called the Deol with a Difference!

A Must Watch!
