My cousin sister had visited Bangalore on 17th April, and I booked a single occupancy room through Oyo Rooms. Right from the booking phase till checkin and checkout processes, the communication between Oyo and the hotel staff seemed to be not upto the mark, and I had to face a lot of embarrassment when the hotel staff made us wait for about 45 minutes since the Oyo rooms did not send the confirmation of payment email to the hotel staff. My sister had to catch the flight and this caused us some delay and anxious moments.
After writing to the Oyo team and senior management, they took immediate steps at various levels of management and assured me they will improve the communication between the hotel staff and call center and sort out the issues faced by the customers in future. I hope they will improve it at the earliest. All the best to this budding startup team!
