Such a pathetic customer handling at OYO platform.

I tried booking a room at haldwani location at night on 3rd Feb 2023 , i directly tried to book it on-call , i got connected to a associate who offered me a best price of 556 rupees after all discount , and when i called the hotel prior for confirmation, they told me to pay 700 rupees , as the associate made wrong reservation. After that i called 2 more times and had word with 2 associates , they were helpless. Then another associate asked me to cancel the privious booking and asked to make a new reservation, through which i was okey. He created a new reservation but he forgot to cancel the privious reservation. I again called at hotel for inquiring, the receptionist told in a so bad way that he will not allow for check in if one of the reservation dosent gets cancelled.


It was terribly cold and i was doing all this standing on road at late night .... Then i called many times for help but there was a pathetic customer handling, someone directly disconnected calls , someone putting calls on hold for 30 mins and not even bothering to be online, i was very scared that i will get any help or not.... OYO is platform which is really not taking care of customers, if in my place there would be any girl, why would they do. As the associates was not understanding the problem. They was just sitting there blank.


I writes to management team please to hire educated people’s who can understand the issues and let customer not face such major issues. After talking with 7 to 8 associates , at the end one associate helped with cancellation of one booking.


I am really disappointed with all these pathetic customer handling. It is really not a way. I am myself hotelier and knows very well how is the procedure of hotels . I was really shocked after seeing all this that even i m a hospitality personal i am not able to find the way to rectify the problem...how can other customers know who are not aware of things....


I need senior management 5o take actions on this...... Extremely upset... My whole night got wasted ... Not only here after reaching hotel , the receptionist was like he’s doing favour on us giving a room. Telling that hes fed up of OYO that they are taking rooms at low prices. He was really rude and was not having any etiquette to talk
