Hi guys. I had very bad experience with Oyo recently in Bangalore. Please don’t book any hotel rooms with them.
I booked room through oyo in Bangalore for 2 days. When we entered the hotel they didn’t show us room and said pay cash on arrival. We paid 3870rs. When we entered room it was smelling and had lot of mosquito. No towels, no toiletries bed was bent from middle. We informed frontdesk guy he said he will send but no one came till 1 hour. We asked them to show other rooms but it was same. We called Oyo to change hotels but they refused to do it. Their statement was you paid to hotel so they cannot refund. I asked the frontdesk guy we cannot stay here give refund they said you booked through oyo so they will refund. Basically both blaming each other. When I went to hotel website to check details I find charges for hotel are only 2145rs for 2 days hence 1000rs + is Oyo charging for only adding the hotel on their website. When I asked Salman from Oyo for what are they charging me when they cannot do any service he was giving me repeated nonsense of we paid to hotel not to Oyo.
We were fed-up with this argument for an hour over call.
Hence kindly note do not go to any hotels with OYO do not go with rating people add on the website. Please go to hotels check rooms and services then pay. There are cockroaches mosquito in every hotel.
