Not so real book but very real character

P.S I love you, is a story of grieving and healing, it is a story about realtionships; relationship with the person one loves, with ones family, with friends and more importantly with oneself(coz even if everyone else leaves us, we have to live till we are alive).

holy a young irish woman is totally in love with her husband.her life revolves around him but after his death life loses its meaning for her.she struggles to do the daily chores of life, not due to incompetence but due to wilt of desire to survive.

however, one day she gets a package which contains 10 letters from her husband that he wrote before he died.

each letter contains some instructions to help her to live independently and completely .those letters becomes her Bible’s 10 commendmets which she strives to abide anyhow.thus she begins to mend her life through those letters and solace provided from her weird famly and friends.

this book is supposed to be very good, its a bestseller and a movie starring gerald butler has been made.however it dint stand to all the hypes it has created and appreciation it has drawn(personal view please).

maybe I have developed a tendency to like books thtat I can relate to and never never want to relate to this book(loved one are too precious.).but holy’s grieve was very palpable.

also, i dint find holly changing and adjusting to live as that was the whole purpose of the book(wasn’t it?)till end I though she is engulfed by her pain but suddenly she is shown as a changed person, as if to justify the motive of the book.

nevertheless, even if her alteration wasnt complete, the book is complete and beautiful. I think of holly as a real chracter and I hope no one has to go through what she goes with.
