PS (please see) THIS MOVIE>

The movie opens with Holly (Hilary Swank) and Gerry (Gerard Butler, oh la laa) having argument which comes to a stand still when, Gerry leaves the room, Holly is looking worried as to where he went, showing that she cant live a minute without him being around. unfortunately for them, he succumbs to brain tumor, something that he had been battling for long.

From there on the movie begins, showing Holly trying very hard to cope with his death and fails, hence withdrawing from society, her family and keeping herself from doing her job, finally on her 30th birthday , a cake is delivered and its a message from Gerry. It is the first of his several mails she will receive in this journey which will help her heal and learn more about herself.

The movie might sound like a twisted tail, where one receives mail from the dead, therefore pushing you over the line of sanity, where one starts believing about the film, is he alive?? or perhaps sending her messages from 6feet under? (hoping very much that he were alive).

But what it makes you realise that love is something that never dies and something like death should not hinder from being some ones guiding stick and a shoulder to cry on.

Many critics have slammed the movie saying its not possible for some to be so organised, and things to follow as planned, but the thing is may be if luck is on your things will. Also saying that the cast is wrong, but I think, hilary swank was just right in playing Holly, cause she isn’t supposed to be funny, she isn’t supposed to be matured, cause her counterpart is dead.

Gerry with his larger than life attitude steals many hearts, and often appears as voice inside her head and sometimes as faint distant memories, making not only holly feel secured but also the audience. I generally don’t watch tear jerkers, and am quite senti mentally challenged(and definitely not mushy, I myself am surprised I wrote a mushy review), but it does well up your eyes and does make you realise that life doesn’t end when a loved one dies but just makes you re evaluate what can be done with it.

I had this weird thought once (don’t judge me), that instead of breaking up with my guy, it would have been far more easier to cope with his death. But after watching this movie I realised death is inevitable and leaves you with many unanswered questions and loneliness which creates a cavity in your life that no one can fill, But break ups are far more better as I can always call n demand answers to questions and know he wasn’t good cause he would know your worth. And for those who didnt like it and are just reading this to find out why u should be like it., , it wasnt meant for you watch RAMBO.. dat should help!
