*Why I watched this movie?
*Because I absolutely loved the book and wanted to see it come alive on screen. Unfortunately I was hightly disappointed and later felt that I’d rather not have watched it at all.
*Cast & Plot:
*Hilary Swank(Holly) just could not pull the character together. You cannot relate to her or the pain she is supposed to be going through. She lisps and I found her quite expressionless.
Gerald Butler(Gerry) however is a treat to watch.
The movie is about Holly who is Gerry’s widow and how she copes up with life after his untimely death. The movie revolves around how Gerry has written letters for her and helps her live even after his death.each letter ends with P.S I Love you.
While in the book, I had tears streming down my face after the contents of each letter were disclosed, the movie couldn’t even moisten my eyes.
My Verdict- You might like the movie if you have not read the book but if you have.please don’t watch it.
