The movie paathshaala is movie that focushed on the status of a school which is highly affected by exessive monetization of school.
The story of this movie is based around a schoole situated in town of mumbai named Saraswati Vidya Mandir. This school is known for its good quality of study. But management of that school want more profit so they ordered principal Aditya sahay ( Nana Patekar) to increase inocme at any cost. Then commercialization of school begens. Discrimination among students took place t name of fee. Many products and services are become compulsary to buy to all students.
This phenomenon is protested by all teaching staff lead to a strike of students and staff against management. So that is all about the story of this movie.
Beside this main story some other story also creayed by writer like what happens to that girl student having crush on teacher ( shahid kapoor) that not lead to any result till last of movie.
This movie have a good actor like Shahid and actress like Ayesha Takiya but there is no loving intimate relationship shown between them. Such incomplete stories leads this move toward boringness.
Music of this movie is good. Some song like ’aye khuda’ really a heart touching one.
Some movies like taare jameen par had done better than paathshaala. Team of this movie do lot of effort to promote this movie but a weak story make this movie a big flop on box office.
