The most awesome place to be. It was beautiful, calm, serene, amazing. etc. Actually I have have words to express the feelings. The whole place is a forest area with Satpura Tiger Reserve and almost all the visitng points are inside the forests. Just imagine yourself walking in a lush green forest with beautiful mountains all aorund. The rock paintings takes you back to the stone age, then the water falls take you a pleasure trip. There is a point just above one of the waterfall(Duchess Fall) known as the AC point. One would like to spend a life time there. It was so cool and nice with water flowing besides you. But forget the life time. In the satpura forests, one is not allowed after 5.30 pm, as at those very water falls, there are animals which come to have water.
When one stands on Doopgarh(sunset and sunrise point) also the highest point in MP(around 4400 ft). One get to see the amazing view of the whole satpura forests. Which is spread across 524 sq kms. Lush green forest all around you.
Now about the stay. We stayed in MP tourism Hotel known as Hotel Highland. It was an awesome stay where they provide very good and clean cottages with very good view. It used to get up at 6.30 am and sit in there garden which is pretty big, They serve all breakfast and tea in the garden. In all, it was an amazing stay. Very happy with the hotel. And for Rs. 1300/- per night double bed, it was surely worth it.
I would propose every every nature lover to definately visit Pachmarhi to have a time of your life.
