Yesterday I watched the movie "Pad Man". It is a good movie which has social values.
This is a story of a guy named "Lakshmi Kanth Chauhan" who lives in a small village in Madhya Pradesh. He is mechanic and have a very small family. He gets married to a girl named "Gayathri". She is a very good and caring wife. One day she went to buy sanitary pads and found that it is very expensive. which is no affordable to her family. So she decided no to use the pads. Then she started wearing unclean clothes instead of sanitary pads. But Lakshmi understood that it will affect his health. So he decided to make sanitary pads and the first one was not used by his wife since it does not serve the purpose. Many awkward situations happened in his life by trying his self made pads with girls and women in the society. Because of this he had troubles in his family life as well . Then through lot of troubles he made his innovation on sanitary pad with very low cost. Then later he is awarded for his innovation. Movie explains his struggles to make his innovation successful.
Akshay Kumar performance was exceptional. Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor supported well. All the songs in this movie are so light and good to listen.
Director R Balki also done his job in exceptional way. Cinematography is excellant . The whole team of Padman did
a wonderful job.Overall this is a must watch movie.
