The movie is great.
It has got lot of buzz due to the protests and cases raisdd against it and that has now provided as free promotion for film.
The movie is less in terms of story but great in terms of characters, performance and direction.
All the three lead stars of the movie Ranveer, Shahid and Deepika has done great justice with their character but Ranveer stands out among the three.
Aditi Rao is in small but important role in the movie.
I personally started hating Ranveer by the end of the movie. And this shows his performance level which made me forgot who he really is.
Some scenes in the movie are very high at drama and huge at screen like the journey of Khilji of becoming the emperor, the cold/political battel between Rajputs and Khilji, the visit of Khilji at Rajput fort, the way Padmavati frees her husband from Khilji’s custody and many more.
All and all the movie has proven to be good as per the expectations and hopefully will reach great box office collections which will fill up the damage caused by the protests and cases.
A great treat for Ranveer fans.
