Summary- Today, I will discuss about the movie "Pagglait" and try to share my experience after watching it so that you can ultimately decide whether to watch it or not.

Plot->
It is a story about a girl named Sandhya, whose husband dies nearly 5 months after their marriage, but she is not a typical crying her heart out kind of widow. She is just there, going through the motions and even she says that she does not feel bad or sad at all because, the 5 months marriage was not long enough to create any kind of love or bond and there are other aspects as well which will be revealed in the movie. The movie is about a girl who finally embraces the true feeling of being independent. The premise of the movie is very simple, it shows you the story of Sandhya but there are many layers within it. It shows a typical Indian family get together to complete a death ritual but it is not a basic family that we see mostly in the other Bollywood movies(Specially in Karan Johar movies). This movie manages to capture the feel of a real representation pf a death in a family where some of the Aunties are just gossiping and some men are just planning to get some own benefits and also some people who are actually sad about the death. After looking at the trailer, I thought, this is going to be an outright comedy movie with some family dramas but this movie manages to deliver many comedy scenes along with some real heavy moments. The blend between the emotions are nicely portrayed.
The scenes were looking justifies also for the overall cast of the movie.
Good Aspects- >
Supporting Cast- Each and every actors were hands down in their best performances. Every actors were complementing each other so good to make the scene comical or full of Emotion.
Sanya Malhotra- She completely steals the show. Her character goes through a lot of emotion changes throughout the film and she manages to portray every emotion with ease.
Writing & Direction- The writer and Director Umesh Bisht does a phenomenal job of showing the real face of our society and how an Indian family does a lot of thigs just to gain some so called respect at our Society.
Music- It is s good aspect of the movie because at least the songs are original unlike every other Bollywood movie where we just hear some remixes of old chartbusters in the industry.
Underwhelming Aspects ->
Sub Plots- There are some moments in the movie where it feels unnecessary and could have been easily ignored in the script.
Climax- The ending of the movie was not something that I was expecting after having a good time throughout the movie, it could have been a little more logical.
Conclusion->
Overall, the movie manages to put it’s point clearly and you will get engaged so much from the beginning of the movie even after having some minor boring scenes. I would definitely suggest you to watch the movie once to witness some of the best actors in the industry.
