Paheli - Soundtrack

Paheli kind of sounds like a nice name for a game, but if Amol Palekar is making a movie, and it has SRK, Rani Mukherjee, Juhi Chawla, Suniel Shetty, Dilip P., Anupam Kher Actors of high class acting then why should he back down on music. And lyrics by Gulzar The very talented MM Kreem, who has applauds for soundtracks like Sur, Jism, Rog, etc... And now Paheli. So does Gulzar once again shows the world that he is an excellent poetry writer The first track Dheere Jalna, sung by sonu nigam has an excellent start, with good classical music start, excellent tabla beats, and dhol rhythm, keeps you in a good mood, the use of classical music instruments makes this song and album a Hot Seller, it stands out. Shreya Ghoshal also sounds quite very sweet, Alka Yagnik Watch out...........!!! The Second Song, Kangna Re, by Sonu and Shreya, kind of upbeat song reminds you of the Taal days, with again excellent dhol in the background, with rajasthani folk flavor The third song, Phir Raat Kati by Sukhvinder Sunidhi Chauhan, is a fast dance number with one of the best singers for dance numbers. This song is divided into 2 parts. The fourth song, this is my favorite sung by MM Kreem and Sonu, is a rain song, with the best music in the whole album, this is surely going to top the charts. The fifth song Khaali Hai Tere Bina by Bela Shende and Hariharan, is a sad emotional song, fabulous. Singing by both the singers, the flute makes this song worth listening. The sixth song, Minnat Kare, by Shreya is a song before the marriage and the naughty talks between the bride and her friends, again the use of flutes and dhols. And there is an instrumental of dheere jalna, now u listen and decide, in my hall of fame this is a winner. By the CD do not download; it’s more than worth the Price.
