Hai friends today I am going to share my experience palani murugan temple. I visited several times to palani murugan temple with my family. Palani is a down situated in Dindugal district, Tamilnadu. The palani temple dedicated to hindhu war god Karthikeya is situated on a hill over looking from town. The temple is visited by more then 7 million pilgrims each year. The backdrop to the town is formed by an offshoot of the western ghats, the palani hills, whereon lies the hill station of kodaikanal. At the foot of the hills lie several rivers like Shanmuga, Saravana poikai.
TEMPLE -Palani is home to one of the most sacred shrines of lord muruga, as worshiped in hindhu sect of kaumaram. The Thandayuthapani temple is dedicated to lord Murugan, and regarded one of his arupadai veedu is situated here. The Garbhagiraham is surmounted by a golden gopuram and the walls of the Garbhagiraham have numorous stones inscriptions describing offering mean by devotees to the temple. A temple dedicated to murugan near the foot of the hill by the name of "Thiru avinan kudi".it also called as Kulanthai Velayutha Samy thirukoil. There is a small shrine dedicated to lord Ganapathy. Within the town another temple is dedicated to lord parvathy known as Periyanayaki amman. Another temple dedicated to lord shiva known as a Periya Avudiyar. There is golden chariot for Lord murugan.
Accommodation is very low with high quality
Palani panchamiratham and sandal very special in palani. Palani panchamirtham is very famous with this taste and sandal is very famous with high fragrance.
We can enjoy a full day with nature with gods grace.
