Well where do I begin? Being a dedicated vivanta supporter, having gone to Taj properties practically dish india, and Sri Lanka too, this outlet was an aggregate disillusionment. We had their lunch buffet on my birthday, and sincerely I lamented picking this spot. Firstly, the scope of things on the smorgasbord was so exceptionally restricted(when contrasted with their different properties).

Starters comprised of one paneer thing for veggie lovers and one fish thing for non vegans. The servings of mixed greens at the serving of mixed greens counter were plated inadequately, for a 1200+taxes smorgasbord. The mains - cool, overcooked and decaying. There was an "aloo shimla mirch" on the menu which was well, icy and spoilt. When we educated the gourmet expert about this we were given a substitution from the kitchen which fortunately tasted new. The chicken mains were gradually(over) cooking their way into a rubbery mass because of being continued warmth.

I’m not a specialist culinary expert but rather only a tip folks - do whatever it takes not to keep boneless cuts, particularly chicken bosoms on a smorgasbord menu when you plan to keep it persistently on warmth. Pastries were great yet once more, I was baffled at the extent exhibited. I concur that I shouldn’t analyze the smorgasbord at Taj West End to the one at a vivanta property, yet having being a regular visitor at the Latitude(vivanta Panjim, goa) furthermore having gone to vivanta Bentota(Sri Lanka), this was a finished disillusionment. In no way, shape or form worth the 1200+taxes charged. Folks, you have to draw up your socks and keep up the level that is normal from a "Vivanta by Taj" standard.
