Now, recently, on 10-March-2018, I have purchased a smart TV, make Panasonic, and Model No: 49CX700D. On installing and switching on the TV, we found a vertical line on the centre of the screen. On asking about it, the sales person said that it must be for separating the double pictures or other wise due to non updation of the APP on TV or it may go-off after 3-4 days of use. Even after 4 days of use, the vertical line has not gone and the same sales person could not get the problem resolved and then we have raised a complaint through him. The sales person had said that, if the problem does nt get resolved, by the Panasonic technician, it would be replaced with another piece of same model. After 3-4 days one technician came and opened the back side panel, checked and took some photographs of the panel and sent to the service team. Now they are saying that they will pay back the same amount or asked us to select another model and pay the difference of amount. They are saying that our purchased model is not available and hence, to select another model. our purchased model is a smart TV and has got 3D, 4K, WiFi and Net facility available. There is another model 49EX600D, which does nt have the 3D feature and rest all the other features available. Even I was ready to take that model. but they are asking me to pay the additional amount as it is costing more than our model. Request suggest and help me resolve the issue. I must get an other model with same features without charging any extra amount in the interest of justice .
