I had purchased a CUBE AC in Bhubaneswar looking at the mouth watering price and since I had so much faith in panasonic. Having used other panasonic products for a long time , I was confident this will also be a good quality product. The product turned out as expected good cooing silent, but the service is one of the worst.
Although the AC was promptly installed on the same day that I bought the AC, it was installed very unprofessionally. The service valve that is used for filling checking gas has been left open by the installer which is slowly but surely leaking gas , the drain tube has been placed directly on top of the outdoor unit , there are several screws missing from the outdoor unit and the unit has been installed in a slanting position on the wall.
Seems like the person was hell bent on making the AC not work for a long time. There is only one sales and service for AC in Bhunaneswar and repeated calls to the person was in vain. The technician never shows up. If this is the situation after installation god save me if I claim anything in warranty.
Leaving the gas charge port open has been done on purpose I feel, because this is a common trick as they charge for gas filling even under warranty.
Being a company of such reputation I am surprised at such unprofessional service . Sadly the product even though good would no be recommended by me because highly unprofessional service.
