I bought a Panasonic AC - Model No - CS-PS12NKY from vijay sales, Borivali showroom. After 3 working days (I had to wait for infact 5 days) the installer (some stupid franchisee whom panasonic have recognized as authorized service center) came to install the machine. The guy was in such a hurry that he didnt have the time to start the machine and show a demo and also he didn’t knew many features of the AC. When I tried to run the ac, the air vent opened but with no air coming out of it and the timer started blinking thereafter. When I complained to vijay sales they very casually said - It happens sometimes and said will let know the service center to come and check.
The service guy came once and said he is guessing there might be gas issue. After much followup and shouting at the vijay sales showroom and asking for a replacement they sent another guy to check the machine. This guy recommended the fan blower is defective and hence a replacement can be given. The replacement machine I received in another 1 day and again had to wait for a 3 working day SLA for the buggers to come and install the AC. Again the same stupid f guy came to install hurrying up as if he has to catch a flight to meet the US president. Luckily this time the AC worked.
The bottom lime is that neither Vijay sales nor Panasonic has any kind of responsibility towards their customer. All the call exchanged between me and panasonic and vijay sales all have been made by me. They have no responaibility whatsoever towards their customer. Panasonic as a company has no quality control on the kind of product they are sending for sale. They just brush aside the problem saying this happens once in 100 cases. But why should I be the 100th person to face the brunt when I have paid Rs.32, 000 to enjoy the AC ??? They do not have their own service centres. They carry out the biz by authorizing some fin electronic franchisee who act like careless buggers with no care for customer emotions.
I finally got the chance to enjoy the cool air after 12 days of placing the order. I do not know how long I will be able to do so. Is this wat is expected ???
I WOULD RECOMMEND ANY PPL PLANNING TO BUY AN AC.. PLS PLS DO NOT BUY A PANASONIC AC AND MUMBAI COMSUMERS DO NOT BUY YOUR STUFFS FROM VIJAY SALES. THEY ARE CHEATERS.
