Panchatantra is a really famous book which I think every child has read in his childhood. Recently I bought this book from my children. Before they could start reading it was me who completed the book. Once again I was taken back to my childhood when I used to read these stories. It is one of the oldest book of fables in India. It was written by pandit vishnu sharma.
This book is a collection of short stories with a moral . It is a good way to teach our children moral values in an intersting way. These books are available in English as well as Hindi languages so one can read according to his preference. The language is easy so young children can understand this book very easily. I think it will also develop a reading habit in my children. Today most of the children during the holidays are busy on the mobile phones but I think that giving them is the best option to keep them away from the phones and TV. Atleast my children are enjoying this book. So, I would recommend all the parents to gift this book as a gift to their children. It has 70+ stories so once they start reading this book they would want to read more and more.
