I have never had the habbit of oiling my hair in my childhood, however I soon learnt the advantages of it.
I chose to use the Parachute brand of pure coconut oil for my hair.
I have been satisfied by the product. It smells awesome. The oil is sure sticky but it does a great job of nourishing my scalp and giving me soft and healthy hair. I prefer applying it slightly warm as it helps in better absorption in the hair roots. I use it in the night and wash it off the next morning. I have also noticed that it is great for making my skin soft. I apply little oil on my body during the winter season and that stops my skin from getting dry and flaky.
It is indeed a great oil! The brand is very old and trusted.
The quality of packaging is also good. It is available readily at any local store! You have a choice of buying the small 15 rupeea bottle or the much larger one too which works out cheaper! The new bottle has a nice flip cap and that stops the oil from leaking out of the bottle. I have also seen some people using this oil for cooking purposes!
