Is it me, or is Coldplay one of the best bands around today? They have a very unique sound, and I think the singer’s voice is unparallel to any other artist today. It’s so soothing, in my opinion, and their songs are so mellow that it doesn’t matter what kind of mood I’m in, I become very calm when I listen to their songs. I haven’t been this impressed by a band in a very long time. Even though the majority of their songs have a sad undertone, I get into a very good mood when I hear them. I think they’re a nice change of pace, since there’s no one else quite like them right now. In a music world consisting mostly of boy bands and teen idols, I find Coldplay to be a breath of fresh air for those of who prefer a more mature sound.
