Hyderabadi biryani as we know it has a very interesting history and is derived from traditional Mughlai cuisine and local spices and techniques.
The restaurant will definitely take you back in the day with photos and paintings of the last century. In terms of ambience the place is a class apart and one interesting thing I noticed during my visit was that the smell in the kitchen didn’t reach my nose which you would normally expect in a restaurant. It has a traditional setup with beautiful furnishings and artifacts of the Nizams time.
The food here is great with their signature biryani but one must also try out the continental and other dishes too as they are good too.
A thing of concern is the rush and service was below par when I visited but hey when the standard is so high and there is such a rush a little bit of delay seems alright.
The food here may burn your wallet a little bit but overall it’s one of the best’Hyderabadi biryani’ I’ve had.
Also guys don’t forget to try out their mutton biryani.it’ll totally blow you away. Best thing would be to visit in the evening have dinner and take rest after that scrumptious meal.
