When my husband and I had decided that it was time we took a well deserved break, we both agreed on the holiday spot being Goa.However instead of asking around from friends about their favourite hotel in Goa we decided to book our package online......holidaygoers beware.....you could be taken for a ride.......we booked our package through https://travelguru.com. I was assured that the hotel was a 3 star hotel and one that we could take our family to.We believed that for a good hotel we were getting a good bargain...around 2600 per night(not during peak season). But the minute we saw the room we knew we had thrown our money down the drain. Not only were the rooms small and dingy but the bathrooms also were not cleaned properly. The bedding looked scary...i wished I had bought along a few bedcovers from home. When I called the hotel staff they were very sweet and said that they would do whatever would make us comfortable but since they didnt have another upgrade available I would hav to stay in the same room. The breakfast included in the package wasnt good...overall I would say that the staff was very attentive. They used to ask every guest whether they needed anything regularly. But the hotel didnt deliver as far as the expectations....the staff told me that it was a 2 star hotel(i doubt that too)so the travel guru guys were the ones I should be complaining about. In case u want to go to Goa with friends and jst need a place to crash in the night andare on a tight budget then this hotel is fine...try to gt this place at a cheaper rate than what we got.Christmas time might be much more expensive.I have stayed in places like Cidade de Goa on packages where the rates were the same and the rooms were beautiful...and the food awsome...so if you are paying the money check out all options and do a lot of comparisons.During off seasons hotels in Goa are very cheap.
