Parineet is an excellent movie coming after a long time. Everyone plays an interesting part and the story is a very pertinent drama of the conflicts afflicting many a human being.
Its not like Devdaas which is more about the sets and makeup. But Parineeta captures a range of human emotions and conflicts fairly brilliantly.
And there is tongue in cheek humour in the movie in all of saif’s dialogues so the audience fairly rejoiced even in the tragedies. Some of the sound effects caught us off guard and the whole hall was laughing !
This movie is definitely a must watch for this rainy season.
Vidya Balan is ok doing her part. Actually she reminded me of sharmila tagore or a shobha de and then with Saif Ali Khan also in the picture it got me thinking of Tiger Pataudi caught hunting black buck so it was fairly distracting overall !!
Dia Mirza she is defintely eye candy material in the movie and is the most stunning girl next to the wide eyed babe Raima Sen.
