Been a while since we have been planning to take the kids to Disney and finally we made it.
Unlike Britain and Ireland, bed and breakfast information is limited and the e.mail responses did not seem to be friendly.
Booked at Kyriad Disney, which is pretty close to the park is next to Meridian. They have shuttle services from CDG or you can take the Eurostar from the terminal. I used hotelclub.net which provided quality, no nonsense bargain deals.
Kyriad provides wonderful facilities for the family and they have free pickup and drop services to the park but they dont have an Internet cafe :(
Park tickets are available at the hotel counter and standard cards are accepted. The breakfast spread is amazing and if can hog, do it by all means as food is expensive elsewhere and you need to last till evening.
The rail network is pretty close to the park and you can easily take a hop in any of
the trains to visit Paris. Buy a weekly pass if you intend to stay longer.
We experimented with a few packets of MTR ready to eat stuff so the combination of brown bread and paav / paneer made sure that we did not miss out on home food.. You can use the coffee jug to boil the aluminium packet.
Advisable to start early and one should be able to complete the main park in 1 1/2 days. We were lucky to finish off most of the rides except for some of the dizzy ones, which were skipped.
Be prepared to walk and unless you are fit, you would not be able to enjoy the day out. Much is available on the Internet about the various rides being offered but plan your day ahead before you leave the hotel.
It is better to do the shopping at Val dEurope mall where some of the exotic French pastries can be tried out.
This place is for kids and adults alike. Make sure that you take enough rolls from India.
Paris city was a whirlwind half day tour. Will have to visit again to see the museum etc
Learn a few essential french words so that buying tickets and other stuff can be easier. We used sign language quite well.
