Tick ... tick ... tick ... tick
The sound of the table tennis ball being caressed by my bat ...... ITS SO FRUSTRATING !!! I was sick of it , I had to take a break , the adreneline, it was such a sudden rush for me , I had to take a break , I had to ..... I really had to.
At Andheri YMCA , the description which I gave , is quiet common for us table tennis lovers. It was in this situation , that I thought lets chill down a little bit by having something to drink . I was strolling down the road , saw many shops with the miniature fridge containing all those soft drinks .I was on a diet , and soft drinks was an utter no - no for me . Well I decided , lets have something else. I casually strolled into a shop , and my eyes caught the sight of a beutiful yellow coloured pack , containing melt in ure mouth , mango flavoured , savourish , tasty , sweet , juicy pulp. I took one sip and went bonkers over this marvel of a drink. However , soon I felt more thirsty . Scientifically , any soft drink , would make you more thirsty.Well , I finished the pack , red the contents .... slowly , the usual stuff , mango , sugar blah blah blah blah blah.... . Then , my eyes came to the price tag. It said Rs.15 !!!!!!! This left a faggy taste in my mouth , I felt like cursing myself for having such an expensive drink , I could have the golas or the nimbu panis , 5 of those actually , why did I have to drink this stupid drink ( not so stupid actually ) , which costs bludy 15 bucks !!
Well , rs.15 was its old price , but now , its rs.12 , not such a big psycological advantage actually , anything above rs.10 wud put a person in two minds . thats why a person would generally prefer to drink a frooti or a milkman as such. Well , all in all , Njoi is a wonderful drink , but it takes its toll on the wallet !
